Introduction

The name's Indri.

Well, actually, my close friends calls me with a different one but let's just use Indri since it's the official nickname from my parents. 

Basic information about me: I was born in the year 1997 - where Indonesia's former president Soeharto was on the verge of being hurled from his dearly throne that he had been sitting on for three decades consecutively, and there was also this particular Asian monetary crisis that made Rupiah fell very hard. I guess, it was a really weird year for everyone. But maybe not as weird as 1998 (you know, with those riots and all). It also has it's own Wikipedia page!

I was born in Jakarta and spent my whole life there, too. Until I had to move to another province that's a lot smaller and probably has less polution, namely Yogyakarta, for college. It is an eight hours train ride from Jakarta, but only one hour by plane. My parents are still in Jakarta, though. So, yeah, I kinda live alone there. 

In 2014, I graduated high school and got enrolled in Gadjah Mada University, majoring in Food Technology. For the record, I still don't know how I ended up going here since biology was my least favorite subject back then in high school, but I guess, this is God's plan for me and so I took it and keep on going.

(Eww, so cheesy. I hate cheesy things unless it's food.)

Anyway, other things about me: I like reading books, especially sci-fi, fantasy, and young adult ones. I like to write, that's why I make this blog. And if I have MORE spare time, I usually watch movies, having a culinary getaway especially if there's a food bazaar or festival (but only if I have enough money to waste), and playing games. Not trying to brag or anything, but my hands are really good at playing games, meaning that whenever I try a new game, chances are I usually understand it much faster than other people do and usually win it. I guess it comes in my genes (my mom's a pro at playing games, too).

One other thing: I enjoy punny humor a lot. It's something I have going on with my friends.
